This 75-foot-long multiple-kingpost truss covered bridge was built in 1881 and moved to its present location in Bridgeport, West Virginia after being washed away from its original site in 1899.

Ohhh, Steve, I SO ADORE these fine, old bridges!! Very Clever of the locals to stand a picnic table inside so cars won't try to drive through this one!! There's still one standing up in Wakefield, PQ (not far from Ottawa) if you're ever up that way. GREAT bakery in the village, too!! FABULOUS photo!! LOVE it!! LF
