Description
Being "taken out behind the barn" was a common threat. Worse still would await you behind the blacksmith shop at Moreston Heritage Village in southern Ontario. This triptych provides various views of the jail cells that were originally in the Markdale Ontario Fire Hall. Not only did crime not pay, it was most uncomfortable and cramped. The bed looks quite unpleasant and the small opening at the bottom of the door suggests the meals were meager.
