Description
Norway's Lofoten Islands have a thriving cod fishing industry in the remote North Atlantic above the Arctic Circle. This image was taken in late May in Stamsund when the sun never sets. My students and I stayed in the huts and climbed a mountain at midnight after closing the local pub.

Perfect, perfect image for a b&w ... love the hint of sepia. Great reflections ... they really take the lovely and strict straight, repeating patterns and play with them, don't they!!!! Awesome and fun juxtaposition of themes!!! Keeping it all in monotone really emphasizes that contrast!! Great find and capture!!!! l/f and t
