Description
Inspired by videos of freezing soap bubbles, my son and I mixed up a batch of water, soap, sugar and syrup and headed outside to photograph whatever might happen at 20 below. Unfortunately, our bubbles burst too soon. Perhaps it was our use of good old Canadian maple syrup in place of corn syrup that was the problem. Anyway, it created a beautiful green hue in our "ammo" bowl that left us shivering in awe.

Thank you, Linda! I have been accused of having a lot of hot air, but that was not the problem here. I think it was the wind that did our bubbles in. Anyway, I am awaiting the next cold snap. :)
